Abstract: As part of Mission Ocean, the OCEAN CITIZEN project aims to engage society through impactful communication. We created an original storytelling approach combining project progress with an ecological succession story of the regeneration of marine ecosystems. Our innovative method integrates science and communication to promote Ocean Literacy and synergies, fostering stakeholder engagement. OCEAN CITIZEN is a model to communicate Horizon Europe projects effectively by "thinking outside the box."
Contribution: build in a participatory way a communications strategy following the storytelling approach about the ecological succession as a central theme.
