One Ocean Science Congress

One Ocean Science Congress
June 4-6, 2025

Nice, France

Within the frame of the UNOC3 taking place in Nice this June, CNRS and IFREMER have been entrusted with organizing the One Ocean Science Congress (OOSC), a Special Event dedicated to science. This Congress aims to provide Heads of State, Governments, and society with essential scientific insights into the Ocean’s health and future trajectory. By fostering science-informed decision-making, the event seeks to support the conservation and sustainable use of the Ocean, optimize the solutions it offers, and safeguard the invaluable services and benefits it provides to humanity.

Given the urgent need for decisive, swift, and unified action to address the Ocean’s critical condition, the Congress will serve as a pivotal platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration. The program will include plenary sessions featuring opening remarks and keynote speeches, alongside parallel oral and poster presentations.

To strengthen connections between science, society, and policymaking while engaging civil society more broadly, the Congress will also host interactive townhalls, including panels and roundtable discussions.

Join the One Ocean Science Congress to shape a sustainable future for our Ocean!
