The 15th SER Conference will be held in Brest, France. Thi edition continues the tradition of bringing together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge and strengthen collaborations in the field of restoration ecology.
This year’s event will highlight emerging and cross-disciplinary topics, including the restoration of ecological networks—particularly “dark infrastructure”—and marine ecosystems. Given Brittany’s strong maritime and wetland heritage, special focus will be placed on wetland and coastal ecosystem restoration.
Discussions will also address the practical application of upcoming European restoration legislation and the implementation of national restoration plans.
The conference welcomes contributions covering all aspects of ecosystem restoration—ecological, sociological, and political—across all types of ecosystems and territories, with particular attention to overseas regions.
